Lovely in White - These lovely looks wouldn't need any alterations to go from red carpet to the white aisle.
"Natural" hairstyles - Several stars wore their hair down, including Claire, Hayden, and Tina (you should be aware I refer to my celebrity "friends" by first name only). Of course we all know these effortless looks took hours, but let's just ignore that for now and pretend stars are JUST LIKE US!!
BIG earrings and naked necklines - Statement earrings seem to be in right now, especially partnered with an up-do. Unless you are Megan who is above all the rules of nature.
Sparkle - Ooh, my favorite trend! There was a lot of sparkle on the red carpet this year and I am all about it. I especially love Julianne's gold glittered gown.
EXTREME SPARKLE CLOSE UP:
Old Hollywood - A few stars rocked the retro look, including Zooey's pearls, Francesca's red lips, and Amy's finger waves.
Mermaid shape - Not everyone can pull it off, but Kelly, Hayden, and Jessica can. I'm also loving Kelly's light light light light green hue with her purple hair.
Ballet pink - During her interview with Ryan, Amy referred to this color as "ballet pink." I love this blush hue, especially in weddings. All these could be lovely wedding gowns as-is, in my opinion (and guess what, this blog is all about my opinions).
Groom Style - While 99% of the male attendees wear tuxes, we applaud those who choose to wear something a bit different:
Ewan is so handsome he can pull off the "I just rolled out of bed and threw on this shirt and jacket" look.
I'm a fan of Aaron's midnight blue bowtie and patterned jacket.
I know he's just a kid but I love Nolan's colorful bowtie and wish more grooms would wear some color!
And one more thing, Tina and Amy were awesome hosts, right? My major complaint (along with everyone else on the internet) was that they didn't get enough screen time. Hopefully that will change when they host the show next year *thinking positive thoughts*.

ReplyDeleteTina and Amy should host every year!!! I loved them. I also loved Tina's two looks (so gorg!!), but thought Amy needed help. Did you notice every wardrobe change had her "two girls" hanging out? I also saw some unfortunate extra fabric under Jennifer Garner's left boob which made it seem like she had a 3rd one and Halle's dress cut her boobs in a weird way which made one boob look bigger than the other. Other than that, I would say I loved their gowns. I also liked Jennifer Lawrence, J.Lo (really revealing, but if I had her bod, I'd be naked too lol), and loved the top of Anne Hathaway's dress, but not the bottom. I guess I had more dislikes this year than likes. MMM thanks for including Ewan in this post. I love me some Obi-Wan. :)
