Happy Friday! Today I'm linking up with two fabulous bloggers, The Vintage Modern Wife and Scissors and a Whisk, for their weekly feature Happies and Crappies. My happies and crappies are a little different than they do it ... instead of listing out my happies and crappies separately, I'm kind of combining them.
1. Today was my first full week in my new position as (transitioning) ad manager with DIY Bride! I'm really enjoying it so far (happies) but no sales yet this week, boo (crappies).
2. At one point this week, I weighed myself and it was the highest number I've seen (crappies). I vowed to start dieting. The next day I had a burger and fries for lunch (happies OR crappies, depends how you look at it).
3. Mr. BFT and I had a couple silly fights this week (crappies). But they were those dumb kind of fights that you forget about almost as quickly as they came up (happies). AND Mr. BFT took it upon himself to sew up a rip in one of our sofa throw pillows (mega-happies)!!!!
4. I had major allergies all week due to the wacky weather in Los Angeles (crappies) but I still managed to get three outdoor runs/walks completed (happies).
5. I was totally bummed to see that Weddings Unveiled magazine turned down (but then later recanted) a photographer's ad showing a lesbian couple (crappies) but my heart was warmed by the outrage shown on Facebook and Twitter by the wedding community AND I started up an email conversation with the photographer and I'm happy to now be showing her ad on Pixie Dust Bride (happies).

I miss your Friday favorites, so I think it would be fun to see a weekly round-up of happies and crappies. I think it's cool that you combined all of yours. It shows that you can either turn a negative into a positive right away or that you look on the bright side of things. :)
